Now That You’ve Decided To Be An Entrepreneur, What’s The Next Step?

Once we have chosen “the road” to become an Entrepreneur, there are many changes we will encounter.  For example, if we come from a family of employees, we will soon see that everyone around us will not understand why we want to become an entrepreneur.  They think we should stay in a “safe, secure job”. 8-O   This is usually where most entrepreneurs hit their first “road block” because the values and beliefs necessary to be an entrepreneur, in my humble opinion, are the opposite of an employee.

This is where we must be willing to lay our new “foundation” for our “beautiful new house” that was mentioned in our last blog post.  The values of an employee are not applicable for an entrepreneur who wants time freedom and financial freedom.
Robert Kiyosaki so eloquently stated these in our post called 8 Financial Myths About Money(click on title).  And as Jim Rohn says “your income is determined by your philosophy” and your philosophy is what you know plus the decisions we make.

Next Fork In The Entrepreneurial Road

The next thing to decide as an Entrepreneur is do we want to work alone or with a team?

Here are a few Questions To Consider when we are choosing our entrepreneurial endeavor:

– When do we want our ideal life?
– Are we always working and busy while earning our monthly income?
– Do we have residual income coming in each month?
– Do we want to travel without having to continue to work?
– Do we ever want to totally retire and have residual income which keeps on growing without us?

Example of Goals To Write Down :
In 30 days, I will make $…

In 90 days, I will make $…

In 6 months, I will make $… & quit my job

In 1 year, I will make $… & buy a car

In 3 years, I will make $… & retire my spouse

In 5 years, I will make $… & vacation in Paris

In 10 years, I will make $… & buy my second house

In 20 years, in 30 years, in 40 years, in 50 years…

Now we have decided to be an Entrepreneur, and we have decided to work alone or with a team.  We will work on our goals and make some major decisions for our “life plan”.

Sending you a lot of “Aloha” (love) & “Mahalo” (thank you) for being a part of our “Ohana” (family)!
