Do Annual Reviews Do More Harm Than Good?

The annual performance review "is little more than a dysfunctional pretense" wrote UCLA's Samuel Culbert for MIT SMR. Today, more than half of HR execs say their own performance-management systems deserve only a C or less, and some companies are dumping reviews altogether.
